Kitting

Parts management is of major importance to manufacturing companies involved with a large quantity of component parts for finished assemblies. Traditionally, components are individually wrapped and numbered, then loaded into a plain carrying tray without further segregation. This conventional practice is not only time consuming but also prone to human error, since part recognition can be difficult.

We have pioneered a new system, featuring customised kitting containers that are designed to increase productivity, reduce damage and simplify inspection procedures. Precision moulded kit boxes can be readily developed to allow robot picking and assembling techniques in line with manufacturing systems. Our Kit Box features purpose designed cells with components grouped in module/assembly order thus providing easy picking to increase productivity, combined with good parts presentation for faster inspection and identification.
